Our fill materials consist primarily of a renewable raw material. The raw material is hemp shives, which, as a renewable resource, are sourced as close to the site as possible.
Hemp shives from the hemp plant are a natural, renewable raw material. During its growth phase, the plant absorbs CO₂, a valuable contribution to reducing emissions.
Due to their elongated shape and the adhesive effect of the bituminization, the hemp shives interlock with one another in such a way that, under the pressure of the flooring structure, a bonded, jointless insulation and leveling layer forms.
